West Lincoln mayor, Dave Bylsma, was refused access as mayor to offer greetings at the Niagara 2022 opener event 13/13 August 8, 2022. Due to rain, the event was moved indoors and as mandates still apply, he could not enter the building in “official capacity” due to non-disclosure of his vaxx status. Meanwhile, he could enter as a visitor along with any one else regardless of their status. Where’s the science in that?
The mayor went on to hold a peaceful protest against vaccine discrimination, attracting hundreds of supporters. In less than 2 hours, several hundred supporters showed up outdoors to stand with Mayor Bylsma while a smaller crowd continued the opening indoors.
